How To Wrap a Pallet

1. Try to make the products on the pallet as symmetrical as possible. Loads that are not in boxes can be difficult, but obtaining even weight distribution is optimal.
2. Unwrap a section of film and tuck it close to the top or the bottom of the products. In-between boxes or between the pallet and the bottom of the products being wrapped.
3. After the film is tucked, begin wrapping the top of the load if tucked close to the top. Wrap 3-5 revolutions around the top of the load depending on the load weight and height.
4. After multiple revolutions around the top of the load slowly begin to wrap towards the bottom overlapping each revolution.
5. Once the bottom is reached wrap multiple revolutions around the bottom of the load. Notice how the film overlaps the corners of the pallet and products being wrapped.
6. The finished product should help keep loads secure and stable during transportation.
Using stretch film to wrap a pallet is more than putting plastic on a pallet load. Follow the steps with each picture to properly wrap and secure a pallet load. Remember to keep constant tension on the film when applying. Pulling and stretching the film offers strength and stabilization to the load.  Click on the link to find a large selection of stretch wrapping film.
